All pupils and parents - Welcome back! We're now two weeks into our new session. Four puils have joined us in Primary One. We have two new families with four children for Primary 3-6. In nursery we have two new starters. Please keep in touch, pop in and see us. Our regular news appears in the Sanday Sound newsletter which is put out to homes monthly.

Primary classes - The two class model seems to be working well. Children have settled into their rooms confidently. Primary 1-3 are studying 'All About Me' through a variety of cross-curricular activities. Primary 4-7 are learning all about the many aspects of 'Fishing' and have even been pier fishing (and caught some coalfish, or 'cuithes', and tasted them too!).

Secondary pupils - are well underway with their studies. Four lucky pupils have been accepted to visit Malawi and our partner school, Minga, in October. We will have Malawian visitors from Minga joining us soon.

Collaborative project - secondary staff and pupils are organising their biology/geography fieldwork and S1/2 project (which this year is on the theme of 'Monsters'!).
